I cannot and will not recommend this to anyone. This is the worst state any of those games has released in and for it to still have game breaking bugs (eternal black screen, game freezing if someone intercepts a pass and the ability for players to 'soft lock' the game by disconnecting and reconnecting several times). I love Blood Bowl, I've played it since the old days (the awesome old Astrogranite pitch) on TT and have owned each iteration of the game from the BB 'inspired' Chaos League to BB1, 2 and now 3. At the current rate of their season passes, with only one team dropping each season, it'll take FOUR YEARS until all the teams are available. Sadly however, it's the only game that features the new ruleset and most players have already switched from BB2 to BB3, so getting a game in BB2 is increasingly harder. No, this game is far, far inferior to its predecessor. Also, on the topic of cosmetics, basic things such as player mutations showing up on players is not available (you'll have to imagine them having two heads, or claws, or whatever else they might have) - a feature that Blood Bowl 2 managed to pull off.
A team will have 11-16 players and there is ZERO customisation available (not even hair/skin colour) outside of what they are selling to you. It’s a remarkably faithful effort so faithful, in fact, that Blood Bowl 3 isn’t so much a new game, as it is a way to play one that already exists. These cosmetics by the way, are for ONE player only. Blood Bowl 3 is Cyanide Studio’s latest effort to translate Blood Bowl, Games Workshop’s game of Fantasy Football, into a videogame. The game released SEVEN months ago and bugs (game breaking ones) that were reported upon release are still unfixed and yet, they have the gall, the sheer nerve to sell players season passes and 'cosmetics'. The current state of this game is absolutely unacceptable.
